About
On this site I have posted photos of pollen, floral resources in simulated "bee vision," and other subjects that have piqued my interest. Honey bees are endlessly fascinating and have taught me so much about the natural world in which we live.
Insects in general are in trouble and I have the feeling that people want to help. You can do so by replacing your lawn (or portion thereof) with native plants. By doing so, you welcome greater diversity into your landscape. The bird species in your yard will increase as there will be more food (insects) to feed their young. Get to know and support your local beekeepers too.
I welcome questions, comments and suggestions for the web site. You can reach me at honey@winginitapiary.com
