Local Honey

I am a small-scale honey producer near Chestertown, on Maryland's Eastern Shore with master beekeeping certifications from Cornell University and the University of Montana.

Wingin' It Apiary is situated on my home's 10-acre property and has abundant forage for the honey bees to collect from. Tulip trees and black locust are the main sources of nectar flow in spring. Wildflowers fill the gap in summer, which gives way to goldenrod and asters in fall.

Along with beekeeping, I also garden and plant for honey bees, other insects and wildlife, to create a balanced habitat all can enjoy.
